Cabinet refacing is a popular way to improve the look of your cabinets without all the expense and hassle of completely replacing them. Refacing is a process in which you get new doors and drawer fronts in any style, and the cabinet boxes are covered with a matching real wood veneer. The result looks like a brand new set of cabinets! In most instances, it's just the faces and doors that are old, out-dated, or in poor condition, anyway. Why replace the whole cabinet when you can get a like-new appearance for less by refacing them? If you like the layout of your kitchen and want a brand-new style, refacing makes sense. When refacing, there's no electrical, plumbing, countertops, or flooring to deal with. It's also less wasteful. With only 2 to 3 days of work in your home, it's probably the most hassle-free remodel you will ever experience. No kidding.
The process is simple: While your custom doors, drawer fronts, and other components are being manufactured, your kitchen remains untouched by us. In about 3-4 weeks, it's time for the makeover. First, the old doors, drawer fronts, and trim are removed. Then, after surface preparation, wood veneer is applied to the side panels and face frames, covering all existing finished surfaces. This is a permanent, real wood material that is stained to match your new doors. Lastly, your new custom-made doors, drawer fronts, and trim are installed to finish the job. When completed, you have a dramatically new look with a quality finish that will last. All our components are pre-finished with a catalyzed conversion varnish with a UV inhibitor added to protect against fading and discoloration over time. There are so many styles to choose from in alder, oak, maple, beech and cherry woods. Other wood species are also available.
The transformation is truly amazing! So eliminate that cheap cabinet look and enjoy the beauty of todays styles and finishes. Your price includes everything: doors, drawer fronts, trim, veneer coverings, new concealed hinges, and installation.
